Officially established in Montreal on April 9, 2023, the story of Église Exploration began many years earlier—with a deep passion to serve people, especially immigrants, and to build a church that looks different from the traditional religious model.
How the Journey Began
The heart get more info of Église Exploration was formed in 2016 after a powerful and life-changing encounter with Congolese refugees in Nova Scotia. That moment ignited a God-given desire to serve people from different backgrounds, cultures, and stories. This passion continued to grow through ministry work in Haiti and missions across Canada, where the call to serve became stronger and clearer.
In 2019, this vision was confirmed by Janet and John Kristensen from the Apostolic Church in Canada. They affirmed the calling to plant a church—not one focused on programs and routines, but a church centered on people, purpose, and the presence of God.
After prayer, planning, scouting trips, and even navigating the challenges of the global pandemic, the dream became reality. What once existed only on paper turned into a French-speaking, multicultural church in Montreal—Église Exploration.

From the very beginning, Église Exploration decided not to be “just another church.” We exist to empower men and women to understand who they are according to the Bible, discover their purpose, and live out their full potential.
